The votes are in for this contest! Congratulations to Rich Bryant for bringing home not one, but two first place ribbons from both our fair and the @ncstatefair! 🏆 After 10 days of awesome ended here, our judges chose his beautiful stingray to make the trip to Raleigh and wow all of their guests. We can’t wait to see what everyone creates next year!

It’s Hispanic Heritage Day at the fair! Come see our friends, Chad and Lorena, from the @hispanicleague at the Chevy Clock Tower Stage. You can get some free goodies from them and help raise money for scholarships!

They are selling hats and llamas for $10 each to put towards scholarship funds. Hispanic artists will be playing on the clock tower stage throughout the day!🎤

Thank you to everyone who came out to the Deer Park Spring Water Grandstand for the Old Time Tractor Pulling Association Tractor Pull! 🚜 You have one more chance to catch a Grandstand event during the rodeos tomorrow. Don't forget that all entertainment is free with admission!

We also wanted to share that Tracy Coe with OTTPA has generously donated all hook fees (totaling $2,000) from tonight's pull to Helping Hands Christian Ministry to put towards WNC recovery efforts. Thank you, Tracy, and OTTPA for helping support our mountain communities!

TRAFFIC ADVISORY for Saturday Oct 12. Expect bumper to bumper….
Wake Forest vs. Clemson at Noon
Fair gates 9 am

Utilize Shuttle parking at 2400 Reynolda Rd FREE of charge starting at 10:30 am.

Parking will be limited in the LJVM Coliseum and Allegacy Stadium parking lots provided by Wake Forest University until full. Parking charges for the game will be $30.

The Winston-Salem Fairgrounds and the Carolina Classic Fair encourage patrons to avoid coming around game time. The parking price will revert to $10 following the ingress of Football game traffic

Alternatively the remote parking shuttle service will operate from 10:30 am at 2400 Reynolda with a drop of in front of the Joel Coliseum parking lots. The shuttle lot at 2400 Reynolda Rd will run until 9 pm.

Information updates on day of parking can be found on the Carolina Classic Fair’s social media pages.

Again, please plan to arrive early and follow the directional signs when in the area. Carpooling is advised if possible. As always please be safe when parking, store valuables in the trunk, and lock your vehicle.

Drivers not attending the Wake Forest football game or the Carolina Classic Fair should use alternate routes to avoid the area around the Winston-Salem Fairgrounds.
