Carolina Classic Fair Hot Dog Eating Contest Registration

There will be 15 total contestants selected to compete, the Fair and its agencies reserve the right to offer spots to contestants outside of the lottery process.
$5 Lottery to be eligible for registration. You may register for the lottery on https://www.ticketmaster.com/event/2D00612DC9039358
Deadline to Enter is October 6 at 10 pm
Selected participants will be selected at random and notified via email on October 7
Final Registration for the participants is an additional $20
The winner will receive $250 and a trophy

Carolina Classic Fair Hot Dog Eating Contest Rules

Time limit: Contestants have 6 minutes of time to eat as many hot dogs as they can.
Eating order: Contestants must eat the hot dogs in a specific order and finish one before moving on to the next.
No utensils: Contestants can’t use utensils to eat the hot dogs.
No condiments: Condiments may not be used
No alcohol: Alcoholic beverages are not allowed.
No vomiting: Vomiting is an automatic disqualification.
Partial hot dogs count: Partially eaten hot dogs count, and hot dogs that are still being chewed at the end of the contest count if they are swallowed.
Eat-offs: If there is a tie, contestants will compete in an eat-off to see who can eat the 5 complete hot dogs the fastest
Waivers: Contestants must sign a waiver acknowledging the risks of the event and agreeing to abide by the rules

The winner will receive $250 and a trophy

The Carolina Classic Fair and its agencies reserve the right to change or alter the rules/regulations as necessary at their own discretion.
