The show combines the best motorcycle athletes with visual circus stunts and a vibrant light show to create a memorable thrill act with motorcycles flipping and flying through the air. Some of the greatest aerial tricks will be performed, including the “Globe of Steel” that features a 14-foot diameter steel cage in which riders race cycles at top speeds, missing each other only by inches. Stunts will also include the “Wheel of Destiny” in which a daredevil takes on a large, revolving, counter-balanced wheel. This is a show for all ages that will leave you breathless.
This, as well as all Grandstand events, are free with paid Gate Admission to the Fair. All seats are on a first-come, first-serve basis. Show times vary daily during the Fair.
The Dixie Classic Fair is the second-largest attended agricultural Fair in North Carolina and runs from September 28 to October 7 at the fairgrounds in Winston-Salem. Advance Sale Discount Tickets are available online through the Fair’s web site, carolinaclassicfair.com and Ticketmaster. The Advance Sale ends on Thursday, September 27 at 11:59PM. Online sales will be promoted via the Fair’s social media links on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Advance Tickets can be purchased with no convenience charges at the Annex Box Office located at 414 Deacon Boulevard, Winston-Salem; hours are Monday to Saturday from 10:00AM to 5:00PM.
