WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (SEPT. 13, 2024)—The Carolina Classic Fair is partnering with Goodwill Industries of Northwest North Carolina to offer free fair admission tickets until October 2. Those interested in obtaining a free admission ticket should take clothes to contribute to any Forsyth County Goodwill location. There is a limit of one free Carolina Classic Fair admission ticket per car contributing at Goodwill while supplies last.
“We are thrilled to collaborate with our friends at Goodwill to offer ‘Goodwill Days’ for the Carolina Classic Fair,” Carolina Classic Fair Director Cheryle Hartley said. “Please remember that the contributions to Goodwill are limited to items of clothing only and must be made by the end of the day on Wednesday, October 2. I look forward to seeing everyone at the Fair soon!”

Celebrating its 142nd year in 2024, the Carolina Classic Fair is owned and operated by the City of Winston-Salem after being donated to the City by the Winston-Salem Foundation in 1969. The 10-day annual Fair features nationally renowned musical entertainment, delicious food, and beverages, exhibits for livestock, poultry, fine arts and crafts, a world-class carnival with numerous rides and games, and many more activities.
